Your build.
One page for the next few weeks: where things stand, what we still need from you, what happens in what order, and where your stuff is. What was agreed, and for how much, lives on the agreement and nowhere else, so nothing here can quietly disagree with it.
Anything unclear, ask: kevin@glazedweb.com or a text. This page is updated by us as things land, so if a circle is still open, we have not received it yet.
Where things stand
- The agreementNot yet accepted. It is written and waiting; typing your name at the bottom is the whole ceremony.Read and accept the agreement
- Build fee, $2,000Due on acceptance. Half to start and half at launch, or all of it in one go, by card on the agreement page; or we invoice it. Nothing is owed until you choose.
- Monthly care, $150 a monthNot due yet. It begins once the build fee is paid in full and the site is live on your domain; we send you the link then.
- Your content: 0 of 7The list is below, with why each thing is needed. This is the only step we cannot do for you, and it is the one that decides the launch date.
- Live on copperac.comNot yet. Until launch day the site answers at the address in Your stuff below, hidden from search on purpose.
What we need from you
None of them long, and in the order they block other work. Each says why it is needed, because a list without reasons reads like paperwork. We tick them as they arrive.
- Your name, your title, and the business’s registered name. They go on the agreement. Nothing else waits on this, and everything else waits on this.
- A read-through of the menu prices. We copied the printed menu word for word on 2 September. One pass at the bar is all this needs; anything that has moved since, your events person can change herself in the workroom.
- Your events person’s name and email.Shown on the events page as the person to ask about hosting something, and she is who gets the workroom passcode.
- The next event. So the events page does not launch empty. Name, date, a flyer if there is one, or hand it to your events person once she has the passcode and she adds it herself.
- Any photographs you love that are not on the site. The ones there now are from 2019. Phone photos are fine; we size them.
- Ten minutes with your Google listing. To add the kitchen’s ten o’clock cutoff, so the listing people read from the car says it. We do it with you at the bar; it needs your login, not ours.
- Who holds copperac.com, and the login when it is time to point it.Not needed until launch week. Ten minutes wherever it is registered.
What happens, in order
The sequence, not the scope. The scope is Exhibit A. No dates here until your content is in, because the content is the only real variable and a schedule written before it lands is a broken promise waiting for week two.
- You sign. The agreement page. The build fee is paid there by card, in full or half now and half at launch, or we invoice it.
- Content in. The list above. It decides the date, and it is the only step we cannot do for you.
- The domain moves. copperac.com points at the new site. The old site’s addresses redirect, so nothing anybody has bookmarked or printed breaks.
- Search switched on. The site is deliberately hidden from Google today, because a copy of your menu on our address would compete with you for your own name. That comes off on launch day and not before.
- Live.
- The workroom handed over. Your events person gets the passcode and a walk-through at the bar: events, menu prices, the tap board. From then on nothing waits on us.
What we are doing anyway
Whether or not any of the rest of this happens on schedule. In the proposal these were an offer; here they are a receipt.
- The six findings, handed over. Everything in part two of the proposal, with the link to each, goes to whoever looks after the current site today. The Copper Bash line and the kitchen hours are each a few minutes to fix from inside WordPress once someone knows where to look.
- The kitchen hours on Google. Your Google listing shows the bar’s hours and nothing about the kitchen. We sit with you and add the note, so the ten o’clock cutoff is on the listing people actually read from the car.
Your stuff
| The site | copperac.glazedweb.com/demo. Where it lives until it is on your domain. |
| The workroom | copperac.glazedweb.com/workroom. Events, menu prices and the tap board, behind the passcode we hand your events person. |
| Scooplist sign-in | scooplist.glazedweb.com/login/copperac. The tap board, from a phone. Your PIN, not ours. |
| The agreement | glazedweb.com/agreement/copperac. Scope, numbers, and the record of your acceptance. |
| Kevin | kevin@glazedweb.com, or a text. |
What the monthly actually is
- Send a text, get an edit. Prices, hours, a photo, a new special.
- Taps, events and menu prices are not edits. You change those yourselves, as often as you like.
- Hosting, security, backups, the domain, the Scooplist account, and the workroom.
Page kept since 2026-09-10. The numbers on it are the agreement’s numbers, read from the same place, so they cannot drift from what you signed.
